Greetings! I am Young-Gi Park, the Director of South Sea Fisheries Management Service.
Welcome to the website of South Sea Fisheries Management Service.
South Sea Fisheries Management Service is the organization that is responsible for enforcing fishery treaties with China and Japan, supervising safe fishery operation in near waters, taking enforcement actions against illegal fishery operations, preventing fishery-related disputes and arbitration thereof, as well as protecting the fishers in waters near the Southern Coast of South Korea, which is abundant with key fishery resources as well as the sites of their spawning and growth.
We, South Sea Fisheries Management Service, will protect the fishery order and our fishers from illegal fishing boats from other countries in order to realize sustainable fishery industries through the efficient management of fishery resources.
And, we will also remember that to protect and promote the happiness of our fishers and the value of the sea itself is the responsibility of us, South Sea Fisheries Management Service.
